I have been blog MIA lately!
I have been so busy these past couple weeks with summer vacations…
Listening to great music at Musikfest in Bethlehem
And turning 30! Yikes!
Then we hit up Musikfest and listened to a Beatles tribute band!
I am super short on time today because I have to run to bootcamp, but now that I am so old and wise, I thought I would share some beach inspired words of wisdom, aka fitspiration, with you on this lovely Tuesday…
I have read a few posts lately bashing fitspiration (yes it is a word!) and debating whether the images are positive or negative. The argument is that images of super skinny or super defined women are unrealistic, may cause negative body image issues, and/ or are just annoying. Well I don’t care what anyone says, I find fitspiration fun and inspiring and I like it!! Those women who are super ripped, work damn hard to look like that, and Kuddos to them! I don’t think I could ever be that disciplined! And if someone really thinks that they can look like a tall, thin fitness model without having the build, I don’t think some fitspiration on the internet is their biggest problem! I am inspired by all images of many different body sizes and shapes. The fact that a person is working out, overcoming barriers, going after a goal…I think that is what is motivating and inspiring!
Anyway, I made up some of my OWN fitspiration, so hopefully for those of you who are sick of fitness inspired pictures, this is a little different….or maybe just stop going on Pinterest so much, just a thought! Cheers!
